KHCA is The State Association Voice for Home Care in Kentucky
KHCA is helping to support its members by working with the 16-State Coalition to provide resolutions to the ever changing regulations imposed by medicare. KHCA also brings a voice as part of the Forum of State Associations working with the National Association of Home Care and Hospice.
Web Features and Directory Listing:
Each member organization receives a listing in the KHCA online directory. Our website includes a Members Only section that allows direct communication with other Association members to communicate hot topic issues. Organizational and Affiliate members will have their logos with links to their home page.
KHCA Board, Committees and Work Groups:
KHCA's work is done through member involvement with the KHCA Board, committees & ad hoc work groups. They work through face-to-face meetings, telephone conference calls and electronic communications. KHCA members are eligible to run for the KHCA Board and participate on various committees.

Each month, KHCA sends via email the Caring Connection Newsletter, an In-Home Aides In-Service training.
Continuing Education (CE and Training Opportunities)
We offer Continuing Education through our Annual Conference, workshops, teleconferences, webinars and regional events. Many of these have free access or offer member discounts on a wide variety of topics designed to meet our members needs right here in Kentucky.
The Kentucky Home Care Association (KHCA)

for the success of its members.
Legislative and Regulatory Advocacy:
As a member we want you to join us for Capitol Day! We work with the Kentucky General Assembly, the Kentucky Congressional Delegation, the Department for Medicaid Services, the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Palmetto GBA and more. We continuously advocate on home care issues which affect the home care industry and offer our members the opportunity to provide comments on various proposals and rules affecting home care.
KHCA Companion Organization:
A state political action committee was registered in 2008. The Kentucky Home Care PAC accepts non-corporate contributions that go to support political candidates who support and advocate for home care issues.
